Food is amazing. We went on. Sunday at noon. The tasting rooms were not open, however, the main dining restaurant was open with wine and cocktails. The food was spot on and the wine was delicious. Hidden gem.
Thank you first for allowing us as Harvest Host-member to park Fred on your property. Also Happy anniversary- thanks for allowing us to celebrate w/ you. If you can put Greece on your bucket list, the food, the people are amazing. Silver Springs has brought Greece to Riceville, TN. We tend to share meals so we decided on the fried fish and Shrimp meal- (Very Sharable) now when you here fried this meal is lightly fried. If your driving north towards Knoxville and its 11am put Silver springs winery in , Tn Oh, yea its that good Sorry, most tables were drinking wine, we are lite weights, so steer clear. My wife had the Gyro plate, and I had the lasagna, and both were excellent. Salads were fresh, and the pita bread was wonderful, too. We also had a few glasses of their wine, and it was good also. I do wish they would have had the strawberry chocolate wine , but they were all out.
What a great Harvest Host stay. Everyone was so hospitable and helpful. The food was excellent as were the wines. Baklava was the best we've ever eaten.
Had a great experience tonight! Dinner was delicious... fish/shrimp/potato and slaw. Everything was really good! I’m not a wine drinker; however, had a little taste test tonight that might change my mind. Thank you for a great meal and welcoming atmosphere! I will definitely be back! Update: Food is still delicious! Desert was even more amazing!
Our second stay at this unique and well run establishment/harvest host. The food,wine, and the distillery is excellent. The staff very attentive and pleasant. And highly recommend meeting the Spartan! Until our next trip south. Tim and Brenda Rose
George and Michelle run a terrific restaurant, The Greek Cafe, and winery, Silver Springs, in Riceville, about 45 minutes from Chattanooga off I75. We've visited three times so far, and have had great meals every time. The staff is professional, efficient and friendly, and they're always eager to please. We were there last with a group of ten, and all were very happy with their dishes and service. Be sure to ask for the unbelievable stacked waffle (see pic,... forgot what they called it). Give them a try - its well worth the drive! Kudos!
We found silver springs vineyards and Greek Cafe through harvest host. The wine was amazing. we had the chardonnay. We enjoyed a seafood platter and several vegan options. The owners are fantastic, the staff are wonderful, the ambience is inviting and relaxing. George and his wife, the owners, made us feel like family. We will definitely include Silver Springs Vineyards and Cafe on our next trip through Tennessee and highly recommend anyone traveling along I-75 to stop by.
